Description:
As the QA Manager (Head), you will be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance processes across our projects and products. You will lead a team of QA professionals, develop and implement quality assurance strategies, and work closely with other departments to ensure product quality and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership: Lead and mentor the QA team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and professional growth.
Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive QA strategies and plans to ensure product quality and reliability.
Quality Assurance: Oversee the design and execution of test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Ensure rigorous testing processes are followed and defects are identified and resolved efficiently.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the QA process. Promote best practices and continuous improvement within the team.
Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, define test objectives, and ensure quality goals are met.
Reporting: Monitor and report on QA metrics and project status. Provide detailed analysis and feedback on quality issues and improvement opportunities.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies. Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in QA methodologies and tools.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in QA or project management are a plus.
Proven experience as a QA Manager or similar leadership role, with a strong track record of managing QA teams and delivering high-quality products.
In-depth knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices.
Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
